0,5l bottle. Amber color, thick and stable white head. Very fresh aroma of malt, some grassy notes. Taste starts a bit sweet, full of malt, caramel and bread notes. Decent buttery and citral notes complete this well-balanced brew. Very refreshing!

(swing top bottle) Clear, deep golden to amber colour with a thick off-white foamy head. Sweet and slightly toasted (cara-)malty and slightly bready aroma with an aromatic dash of citric and herbal hops. Sweet flavour with a rounded level of bitterness, light to medium bodied with a smooth and well-carbonated mouthfeel. Delicately toasted cara-malty taste with shy hints of bread crusts and noble, subtle fruity hops; moderately dry and bready and slightly nutty finish with herbal hoppy spots. Quaffable and rounded brew. 10.II.10

Beautiful dark copper color, with medium head. Delicate aroma of caramel, light smoke and oak wood. Good body structure, caramel flavor, quite dry, with correct bitterness. Well brewed, pleasant.

Bügelverschlußflasche (Dank an Joss!): Light amber coloured, clear, big stable loose off-white head, leaving a nice lace; caramelly-toasty nose with a light barnyardy touch and a mild hoppy background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied, low carbonation; malty-chalky finish with a light hoppyness in the aftertaste. Light, soft and pleasant.......

PotjeBier (1771) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JUN 20, 2012
50 cl swing top bottle from the brewery (had this on tap @ the brewery as well, some 6 years ago). Label says Vollbier Halbdunkel (medium dark). Color is golden to amber. Almost white, rocky head that leaves some lace. Aroma’s are grainy, , some fruit, some malty sweetness. Flavor is almost neutral, lightly malty sweet, bit grainy. Light bodied. Finishes with a light hopnote. Very clean tasting.

The bottle looks good. The label is not really exciting, but unique. Orange-brown in the glass, nice head. Starts malty-dry, notes of cinnamon and interesting spices. Finish mild, modest metallically. Good beer!

Bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a small longlasting off-white head. Has a fruity malty and slightly grainy caramel aroma. Sweetish malty grainy caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy caramel finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

500 ml bottle, thanks Timo A. Pours a copper colour with a small head. Aroma of bread, raisins, citrus and some berries. Flavour of toasted malts, bread, dried fruitiness and grassy bitterness. Some honey. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. Good drinkability.

Nice bottle. Amber brew with a gorgeous golden lacing head and fine pearling carbonation. Sweet grassy aroma. Full buttercaramel body, a hint berries, roast, toast finish, aromatic citric and grassy hops. Medium body, fine sparkly mouthfeel. A hint too much butter for me in it, otherwise a very nice Landbier.
