Diar (23), Sweden
Mar 23, 2008 (bottle, 50cl) 2008. A dark, dark red beer with golden foam that vanished rather quick. It has a fresh, somewhat roasted aroma. A good mouthfull at first but the bubbles quickly disapeared leaving a thin feeling. Malty, roasty taste with low sweetness, not bad at all. Some bitterness in the aftertaste and also some salt. I want to give it a higher rating but somehow I cant pinpoint why.

Jan 7, 2008 Dark ruby with a lasting off-white head. Fruity and malty aroma, with a touch of roast malts too. Rather dry and malty flavour with a soft, creamy mouthfeel.

Dec 16, 2007 Bottle. Reddish brown colour with a tan head. Aroma of malts with further notes of banana & caramel. Malty taste with a metallic bitterness.
ekstedt (1740), Göteborg, Sweden
Nov 17, 2007 Bottle (50 cl) from Systembolaget. Deep copper with medium beige head. Clean malt aroma with some weak caramelly and roasted notes. Light to medium in body with good carbonation. Nicely balanced with a light sweetness and a moderate bitterness.

Dec 30, 2006 Bottle. Pours a dark amber colour with an off-white head. Sweet malty caramel aroma. Sweet malty slightly bitter caramel flavor. Has a sweet malty finish.
