Very good Christmas beer. In our family it is tradition to serve this beer for Christmas dinner. Strong bread flavor and distinct malt flavor with mild hop bitterness.

Mahogany with a huge deep beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, ripe fruits, yeasty and caramel notes. Flavour was sweet with toffee, roated malt, caramel and ripe fruits. Finished sweet. Pleasantly surprised!

Ett riktigt gott julöl, med mycket karaktär. Provsmakade 3 stycken igår (återkommer till de andra bägge) och den här var bäst. Mycket smak, myckt arom, mycket - jul.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours pitch black with a huge creamy light brown head leaving plenty of lace. Aroma is sweet, fruity, malty, caramel, bready and citric. Flavor is malty, toasted, bready, bitter, hoppy and fruity. Finishes bitter sweetish and malty.

Dark ruby with a lasting off-white head. Fruity and malty aroma, with a touch of roast malts too. Rather dry and malty flavour with a soft, creamy mouthfeel.

Dark red, almost black colored. Little beige head. Sweet chocolate aroma with some roasted tones. Mild alcohol comes up too. Medium bodied, could be fuller. Flavor is roasted with strong chocolate, ends with mild carbonation.

Biggish brown coarseish head. Dark red translucent body. Roasty caramelly malty aroma with fruity chocolatey notes. Dry-sweetish spicy peppery roasty taste with chocolatey wild berry notes. Fullish body. Smoothish mouthfeel. Quite dry peppery spicy roasty wooden aftertaste with chocolate notes. Some alcohol. Very nice. (0.5l can, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.)

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark red-amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Caramellic notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Avergae light bitter finish. caramellic nites. Nice. Oily palate.

(Bottle 50 cl) Very dark, almost black with a reddish hue and a handsome, tall head. Full-bodied and dry with a malty, lightly burned touch. This almost resembles a dry, Scotch Ale. Heck, they make nice Christmas beers in Sweden. 210302
