OhioDad (2492), Hilliard, Ohio, USA Jul 22, 2007 Sample at ohio brew week - Pours amber with a short offwhite head. Aroama of slight grapefruit and pine. Flavor is hoppy throughout with lots of citrus and some slight caramel behind that. Pleasant mouthfeel and not bad but it did seem to lean toward the hops. edden (927), cow- lumbus, Ohio, USA May 14, 2007 4/28/07: MRAF ’07 – Cask.<br /> Copper gradation – brown to orange. Hoppy aroma with some citrus. Flavor of hops and caramel malt. Dogbrick (2348), Columbus, Ohio, USA May 1, 2007 Cask version at Barley’s 5th Annual Mini RAF (04/28/07): Pours a slightly hazy amber/copper color with a wispy off-white head. Slick patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of woody hops and malt. Medium-bodied but on the thin side at times, with moderately bitter hops and earthy malt flavors. The finish is mildly hoppy and lingering. Overall the beer is lacking in some areas, which keeps it from resonating in any way. BeerVirgin72 (621), Orlando, Florida, USA Apr 28, 2007 Had at Barley’s Mini Real Ale Fest 2007! Okay. Not a fan of IPA’s however, this is one of the weakest IPA’s I have ever tried. Tried TWO marietta brands today at the Ale Fest and found both to be lacking. Very watered down light feel to it. Not impressed at all. Sorry. dkoonce (753), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA Feb 7, 2007 Wow, hops! What a advance for Marietta Brewing. Unfortunately, the mix is a bit harsh. Light brown, with no head. The body is a bit light for an IPA.
