3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Mike loves this brew, but I’m not completely convinced. Has a nice citrus floral hop thing going but some weird vinegar aftertaste to it, along with some carmel and some pine.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
7/12/2009: I have never been very impressed with any of the beers that I have tried from Marietta, but the IPA is actually a little better than I was expecting. It is amber-gold in color topped with a thin off-white head. The aroma is faint, but has some caramel malt, generic hops, and a hint of tobacco. The caramel maltiness supports citrusy orange hops in the flavor. This beer has a medium body, a mostly smooth texture, and a moderate amount of bitterness. Overall this is a marginal IPA, but still fairly drinkable.
Pint (draught) at Casa Cantina in Athens, Ohio during Ohio Brew Week 2009. Rating #10 for this beer.

This is an excellent session IPA, i could totally roll into the bar and order this on any given day and be happy with my choice. THick, big flavor, totally legit.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sample at ohio brew week - Pours amber with a short offwhite head. Aroama of slight grapefruit and pine. Flavor is hoppy throughout with lots of citrus and some slight caramel behind that. Pleasant mouthfeel and not bad but it did seem to lean toward the hops.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask version at Barley’s 5th Annual Mini RAF (04/28/07): Pours a slightly hazy amber/copper color with a wispy off-white head. Slick patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of woody hops and malt. Medium-bodied but on the thin side at times, with moderately bitter hops and earthy malt flavors. The finish is mildly hoppy and lingering. Overall the beer is lacking in some areas, which keeps it from resonating in any way.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Had at Barley’s Mini Real Ale Fest 2007! Okay. Not a fan of IPA’s however, this is one of the weakest IPA’s I have ever tried. Tried TWO marietta brands today at the Ale Fest and found both to be lacking. Very watered down light feel to it. Not impressed at all. Sorry.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Wow, hops! What a advance for Marietta Brewing. Unfortunately, the mix is a bit harsh. Light brown, with no head. The body is a bit light for an IPA.
Had at the Oakroom in Athens, OH.
