Bottle and served in standard pint glass: Clean golden hue with big fluffy head and very good lace. The aroma has notes of Blueberry Candles due to a soapy and chalky yeast vapour along with a hint of herbal hop and lemongrass. The taste is rather straight forward blueberry and pale grains with just a touch of hop bitterness. The mouth feel is refreshingly carbonated and chalky finish. Too too shabby but wish it was more tart fruit and less chalky tasting.

22 oz bottle. Poured a slightly hazy light orange/golden color. Head was fluffy and white with decent retention. A bit of lace was left behind. Aroma was of distinct blueberries. I smelled them as soon as I popped the cap off. There were also honey-touched cereal grain and buttery notes that were masked somewhat by the more dominant blueberry. The flavor was also blueberry dominated. There was subdued acidity up front that tapered off gradually. The finish was marked by delicate sweetness and a pleasant blueberry muffin-ish note. Fairly well done blueberry beer.

Bottle from Pizza Port. Wife picked out this one. Clear yellow with no head. Aroma of malt and fruit. Blue berry taste with a strong bready finish.

I had low hopes going in after having their raspberry beer. Pours a nastly pale lager yellow, with a bright white head. Looks like the shitty Orion I just had. Nose has extremely faint blueberry. The taste is light and has flavor from an extract. Not horrible, but not good at all in the scheme of beers that use artificial blueberry.

on tap at gabf. clean flavor, light palate, delicious aroma, great hop finish. Probably an extract flavor, if so they’ve used exactly the correct amount for flavor without overpowering.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 TomDecapolis (4231) - Lawrence, Kansas, USA - OCT 1, 2007
Pours a translucent golden with a large foamy/bubbly white head that left some lacing. Aroma of fresh blueberries, fruity, some wheat tartness, honey and some floral notes. Flavors of blueberries, wheat, honey...the beer was light, carbonation was tingly. A bit thin...as expected. Not as artificial as most blueberry beers I have had in the past.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 riversideAK (5458) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - AUG 21, 2007
Nice sweet blueberry aroma with a little hint of wheat in the background. Pours a goldish yellow that loks unfiltered to a certain extent. The main flavor here is obviously the blueberry which is a nice somewhat natural flavor. The blueberry is backed by a little bit of cerealy wheat malt flavor. Rather light, easy to drink, and a more or less decent fruit beer.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 thedm (4783) - Fort Wayne, USA - AUG 4, 2007
This draft brew from the brewery poured a head of foamy finely sized bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a hazy softly carbonated light yellow-orange colored body and a good lacing. The mild flavor contained notes of blueberry. An OK brew just nothing special.

This had a good sized head.Aroma was of blue berries, but not too strong. The color was straw. The taste was of mainly a heavy taste of barley dominated beer with a touch of blueberries.I think a less dominating beer would have been better to taste the blueberries.I was hoping for more of a blueberry taste. Not bad,but could have been much better.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 FlacoAlto (3506) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - JUN 13, 2007
Simply ’Blueberry,’ not a very inspired name on this beer. This beer has a hazy, pale, straw-gold color and is topped by a frothy, initially one-finger thick, pale, off-white colored head. The aroma smells definitively of blueberries as soon as I start to pour this beer. Reminds me of blueberry pancakes. Underneath the blueberries, or perhaps part of their character, is a touch of acidity. If you smell really intently, you might notice a touch of clean, yet thin, malt character, but you really have to dig for it underneath the blueberry notes. The aroma is pretty one-dimensional, but at least it smells like the beer’s name.
Quite dry tasting, yet the blueberry character is noticeable from the get go. It actual tastes of concentrated blueberry flavors, perhaps like you would find in a blueberry syrup, but without any of the sweetness. The dominant blueberry flavor actually adds a perception of sweetness to the finish that in actuality does not exist. The blueberry flavor is not over the top, in fact it is probably at a good level. It is certainly the largest component of the flavor though, as the base beer hardly musters any contributions to the flavor profile. The beer is very light in body and quite refreshing actually. Not horrible and it would certainly appeal to those who like fruit beers that are not very heavy on the beer taste.
