Commercial Description:
"White Knuckle Ale" is a Double India Pale Ale. That's right, twice the malt and twice the hops in one 14 barrel batch. It is named in honor of the exciting bike trail on Mt. Tam. If you are a "hophead", this one's for you; fat, chewy, resiny and pungent! Pour into a wide-mouthed glass and get ready to rip!

An unclear amber beer with a fast disappearing orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of fruit, and lesser notes of hops. The flavor is sweet malty with quite a lot of hops, but also a good deal of fruit - of which oranges are the most dominant.

(Bottle 65 cl) Hazy, amber golden with a creamy, off-white head. Very fresh, citrusy nose. Medium body with a solid, lightly sweet caramel base and then a distinct hop finish. Thanks to Storm for sharing. 151206 and 290307

Bottled. Clear amber, small head. Peachy hop aroma. Sweaty & salty, fruity and lightly syrupy. Medium, bodied with thick mouthfeel. Really bitter finish. Too simplistic malt profile to catch my attention.

Vibrant amber colour with a bit of haze. Rich, chewy flavour and thick body. The bitterness is fairly mellow. There is a bright, peachy, fruitiness in the aroma. Aside from the shocking brightness of the aroma, a fairly standard example of the style.

Bottle. Hazy orange coloured with an off white head. Aroma of fruits, caramel, hops and pine needles. Flavour of fruits, caramel, hops and pine needles.
