Tap at the Bistro BA Fest. Pours amber with no head. Aroma is oaky funk. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is oaky/funky. Really so. It is so mildly, decently soury, funky. And wonderfully oaky/woody.

Clear golden with no head. Oak sour fruit grape and wine aroma. Amazingly smooth white wine and oak taste with mellow Brett sourness. Finishes bright and clear with grape and green apple flavors. This beer is seriously under rated. Its only fault is lack of carbonation it should have been bottle conditioned but the bottle I had had no yeast at the bottom.

Draft. Slightly hazy amber beer with an off-white head. Boozy, wheat, and malt aroma. Boozy, wheat flavor with white wine fruitiness. Medium-plus bodied. Wheat, yeast, white wine linger with alcohol.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of funky horseblanket, vinegar, wild fermentation, and brettanomyces. The flavor is sweet and acidic with notes of brettanomyces, caramel, and alcohol, as well as a lighter note of mold - but in a good way. The alcohol burns in the throat, but the body is light.

Bottle 18,7 cl. Pours a clear amber with hardly any head. Lightly tart aroma with notes of fruit and cork. Medium body, overripe fruit, caramel, wood, mould, cork and acetone flavours. Dry, lightly tart finish with lots of alcohol and biting acetone. 110709

Draft at the Bistro’s BA Fest! Nose of caramel, brandy, and an apple note;clear light brown with a light ring of bubbles; flavor of tart apples, alcohol, and brett; tastes and smells more like an apple brandy than beer. Listed as 12% ABV at the Bistro.

Interesting brew from Marin, still a lil’ young but has potential. You can really taste the brett in this one

On tap at Marin brewpub during the 2009 RBSG visit there. Clear copper pour, the flavors I got were sherry and some alcohol.
