An unfiltered version, which gives this beer a richer flavor, as well as lots of B vitamins.

Light, cloudy and pale dulled gold in color with a creamy, foamy white cap and sheets & blankets lace. Aroma is a bit of a setback, emitting cloves and a lemon graham torte persona. Some vanilla, plastic squeeze toys and mild white chocolate appear at the aromatic rear. The flavor is just down right naughty. Sharp, cackled white pepper and corn husks saturated with clover leaf. Husky, grainy pils malt qualities. Mr. Schneider would be quite upset to see how derailed this rendition is. Acidic lemon tartness gives and ever-so-slight glimpse of flavor before an over-bittered green hop bite overtakes it. Herbal buttered sourdough crust gives a bakery bite before the lemon honey weaves through corn husks for its final pass. Nevertheless, always happy to have a new weizenbock. Thanks for the bomber, tpkenned!

Bottle: Courtesy of Styles. Aroma is light with orange and yeast aromas with lots of herbal spiciness. Pours a cloudy golden orange with a minimal white head that quickly fades to a ring. Fruit and yeast up front wtih light lemon in the middle. Light roasty bitterness in the finish.

Strong and soft I am fine with but this one needs to tell me more at the finish. As a result there is this chewed gum mushyness to the wheat that it not properly bitten off by the hops. This beer looks a better game than it delivers.

Straw colored, no head coming from this bottle. Certainly fruitish sweet type initial flavor. Not much of the wheat thing for a Hefe. Easy to drink, but doesn’t seem unique which I would sort of expect from a place like Marin.

Bottle. Very hazy, deep golden with a nice fluffy head that gradually dissapated. Moderate malty aroma. Smooth flavor, definite lemon taste with some sweetness and some spice. Lots of sediment. Very complex, easy to drink beer.

Hazy, deep straw body with a filmy, receding white head. Aroma of spicy clove, cooked bananas, peanuts, and a hint of sulfur. Flavor has a nice wheat quality with medium, fruity esters and significant alcohol in the finish. Strikes me as nicely attenuated, but the palate is somewhat fizzy as a result. Comes across like an American Strong Wheat beer,

Bottle. Cloudy orange amber beer with a white head. Wheat/malt aroma with a slight lemon undertone. Smooth wheat/malt flavor with some lemon and spice. Lighter bodied. Very easy drinking. Refreshing.

22 oz. bottle from BevMo. Pours hazy golden with a moderate white head. Aroma is sweet and wheaty with soapy malts, hings of maple, floral hops and yeast. Wheaty flavor with rich fruity malts, ripe banana, herbs and floral hops, bit of molasses and spice with orange peel in the finish. Light to medium body and perky carbonation. Rich and complex in many ways, but somehow misses the mark for me.
