2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 jazz88 (2383) - San Francisco, USA - MAR 22, 2006
Bottle. A hazed golden yellow color with a white head. Much lighter in color than I would have expected. It has a malty flavor while making you think it will have a rich hefe citrus character. Yet it mocks you with none of the best qualities of either a hefe or bock. A strong banana aroma with a corn flavor.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Styles (2014) - Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA - JAN 7, 2011
Hazy yellow, ring of film. Aroma reminds me of a dunkel, wheat isn’t very evident. Muted munich character, hint of smoke. Flavor is sweet through and through. Again not much of a wheat character, light spicy hops in finish.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 hayduke (2445) - Eureka, California, USA - APR 11, 2010
From a 22 oz bottle this poured a hazy cross between orange and gold with a while head and good lacing rings. The nose is citrus with some banana. Medium body and lively mouthfeel. Flavor is wheat and citrus. Finish is dry and spicy.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 yemenmocha (657) - Glendale, Arizona, USA - MAR 19, 2010
Pours cloudy brown with a touch of gold. Nose has some bruised banana and toasted wheat cracker. On the palate the bruised banana comes through as well but the focus is more on the wheaty flavors. Finishes malty sweet. Comes across unlike a true to style hefe-weizen.
4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 suburbanite (3) - USA - FEB 1, 2010 does not count
A great take on a wheat beer - takes the traditional wheat flavor and adds a champagne-y crispness. Fairly light, and not a strong carbonation.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 ajm (1057) - Los Angeles, California, USA - NOV 1, 2009
Bottle from Hi Time. Not a fan. This doesn’t taste like a weizen bock as much as just a big wheat ale. Nose is thick yeast, flour, crust. Flavor was that tangy hefe weissen flavor plus dead malts. Slightly vegetal. Smooth but not very tasty.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 ghawener (1220) - San Salvador, EL SALVADOR - AUG 8, 2009
Bottle: Turbo charged Weizen! All you would expect from a Weizen but exponential. Food Pairing: Extra sharp cheese.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Mild citrusy hops aroma and light wheaty. Sweet wheat malty flavoured. Mild citrusy note. Medium dry and light estery flavoured finish. Rather plain brew, I guess it does well at the brewpub for those interested in smooth hefeweizen brews.

Yellow with a fluffy white head. Grain braid aroma. Mild fruit slight banana and mild candy taste.
