Bottle from BevMo Arden. Pours cloudy blonde with lots of floaties and a thick white head. There is a citrusy wheat aroma, a watery slightly sour wheat flavor and a bitter yeasty finish.

Sample at the brewpub on 8/8/10. Clear yellow/gold pour with a medium white head. Wheat malt nose with crisp and light hops. Creamy wheat flavor with a crisp, semi-dry finish.

Pours hazy golden with enormous head that overflows with the slightest of vigor in pouring. Nose is very lemony. Lot of dry wheat cracker on the palate and not so much banana. Lemon takes over. Thin, watery body & some unwelcome sour fruitiness. Disappointing .

tiggmtl (4475) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 20, 2009
Bland aroma with some wheat, green apples, vanilla and an underlying sweetness. Lightly hazy golden body is topped by a low white head that reduces to a slight partial cover. Flavour is quite light and drinkable with some wheat underlying the sweetness. Medium body with moderate carbonation. A bit sticky as it warms. If it was called Marin Brewing Wheat Beer I may be more forgiving but if you call it a Hefe Weisse I have certain expectations that just aren’t met by this beer. No banana character no yeast character whatsoever really. Seems like it was fermented with a very neutral ale yeast. Tulip glass. Fridge temperature. Bottle purchased at Brewery Creek in Nov-09.

Sampled at the brewpub. Translucent, hazy straw yellow with a fizzy white head. Spicy aroma, oranges, clove. Flavor is the same, heavy on the yeast and spice. Dry, chalky finish.

Draft at Marin Brewing Co. I love the part of the description that reads, "the yeast is rich in vitamin B." Gotta love a beer that’s good for you. This one though...eh...not so much. Very light wheat aroma. Flavor of wheat and pale malt, a little citrus. Light on the palate.

bottle, perfect cloudy golden yellow with huge foam, aroma is light floral and citric, flavor really pronounced sour lemon, honey and peach syrup, great carbonation and finish

Bottle courtesy of a sibling for Christmas. Color of dark, dull gold with a big white head. Aroma of musty wheat, apple and vanilla. Flavor was ok, but a bit strange and lacking enough sweetness or banana. Seems to be overcarbonated. Very malty and a weird tingliness in the finish.

hazy gold-straw body with little white head; token sweetness like banana; not much else, it’s drinkable, though...

Poured from tap at MBC a hazy darker blond with a slight white head that fades immediately. Very little aroma, hints at banana and maybe peach. The flavor is syrupy sweet with a fruit banana and some wheat, but lacks any spiceiness. The sweetness down plays most of the other flavors and there is a lack of carbonation that leaves this beer a bit flat. This beer is ok with a spicey bowl of chili, but hard to drink on its own.
