Snojerk321 (1009), San Diego, California, USA Mar 6, 2006 This is my favorite IPA as of right now. Rated 100 points by the Bev Mo beer ambassadors. Not very hoppy for an IPA, tastes between a pale and an IPA. Nice light malty flavor as well. I love Marin!!
fakepurseninja (547), Sammamish, Washington, USA Sep 24, 2008 Well constructed overall - malty with nice hop presence. Nothing noteworthy but a decent drink. cbeers21 (408), Miami, Florida, USA Sep 21, 2008 Hazy orange pour. Floral citrus, caramel melts, well balanced nose and flavor reflects the same. Quenching body and decent bitterness is physically felt in the drying mouth quality. NOt noteworthy, but a solid example of the style, and well constructed. RunDWP (178), San Jose, California, USA Sep 17, 2008 On tap. Straightforward IPA with a lot of clear, resin hop character, and not much else. IslandHaole (1030), Onna-Son, Okinawa-Ken, Japan Sep 12, 2008 A volcanic spew of beige foam flowed out of the bottle as soon as I opened it. Once things calmed down, the massive foamy head sat like an iceberg atop a slighly hazy, caramel colored beer that had the expected Left coast hop profile with grapefruit rind and doughy sweetness of malts. A good balance of sweet pastry maltiness and pine/citrus hops with some dank basement tossed in the mix. A pleasant bitter follow. nightrider (242), encinitas, California, USA Aug 25, 2008 Pour revealed a gold color. Pleasant light citrus aromas. Some moderate hops upfront. Smooth on the palate and light body. Sweeter malty flavors predominate. Easy to drink. Not bad.
