Sparky (2130) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - FEB 6, 2011

On tap at 38 Degrees. Pours slightly cloudy light gold with a half finger startk white head. The nose is skunky hops, faint cat pee and malt. The taste is grassy hops, honey and tart citrus in the finish that didn’t linger. Medium mouth. OK IPA.

tap, Hamiltons pub, san diego. This is probably better than I rated it but it had some tough competition considering there were 20 marin beers on tap. Light citurs hop aroma. Mid range bitterness with some grainy malt. Pours a nice light orange-yellow.

FIRST

Appearance: Pours a clear yellow gold with a 1/8 inch of white film.

Aroma: Cat pee, citrus hops and grain.

Taste: Grain, doughy yeast and crisp bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Thin and sparkly.

Overall: Just not my bag.
