On tap at streets of London for beer week! Aroma is very nice, floral hops, grapefruit and citrus. Flavor reminds me of pliney! Smooth bitterness, with a balanced maltiness. Oily and thick. Nice medium head with lacing down the glass.

Aroma gives off light grapefruit and citrus with moderate floral hops. Appearance is a slightly dark amber color with a medium foam top. Taste contains light malts with a mild, leafy hop bitterness. Very smooth and crisp texture with a very small hint of grapefruit on the finish. Overall, this is a pretty solid brew with nice flavoring (primarily malt and hops). It contains a mild bitter bite with a nice smooth texture. Overall I’d give this a B+ rating.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 drpimento (1936) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 11, 2011
IPA bordering on DIPA. I let it warm some out of the fridge and it poured with an amazingly slow to settle, foamy, super frothy, fluffy, Iight, off-white head and loads of clingy lace. Color is a slightly hazy apricot. Aroma is bread dough, hop, yeast, malt, resin. Flavor is similar to nose with some up front sweetness, followed by bitter, cracker, fruit, resin and slight tang. Body is good and carbonation somewhat soft. Finish is like flavor with resin lasting longest and no alcohol. Good brew.

This is an amazingly smooth IPA. I first had it with pizza in Fremont, CA, and fell so in love with this beer that shortly after I drove to Marin/Larkspur just to have it at the brewery! It’s a great IPA, if you get the chance to try it, don’t pass it up.

O: A very nice cask IPA good amount of flavor with a nice feel on the palate.

Medium bodied IPA that has a grapefruit bitterness to it. Has a lingering dry finish. Not a great IPA.

Bomber from BevMo in Pasadena, CA. Pours a hazy amber with orange highlights under a medium off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit and pine resin. More citrus (orange, grapefruit), herbs, bittersweet chocolate and vanilla in the flavor. Sturdy and unobtrusive malt backbone. Silky texture. Quick, dry and pleasingly bitter finish.
