Combined notes from draft and bottled tastings. Medium orange, nice head. Big aroma of orange, grapefruit, and pine. Grapefruit hops melt into resinous, spicy finish. Just enough malts to balance. Earthy notes in there too.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft. Amber color with little head. Aroma has slight citrus hops. Taste shows lots on pine tar and citrus with a moderate toffee malt backbone. Slight off-taste in the finish, but otherwise dry with a hop lingering.

4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured a coppery color with an average sized off-white head. The smell of this beer is amazing. Very hoppy nose, citrus and pine. Flavor does not quite live up to the aroma but is still very good. Not quite as hoppy as expected but well balanced. Creamy mouthfeel and dry finish. A great session beer.

4.1 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Lovely, flora Cascade aroma. Clear auburn color with a bit of a fluffy head. Creamy mouthfeel, but not nearly the creaminess of alesmith. Nice bitterness that lingers.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Big cascade hop aroma, dark copper hue. Flavor is a little lacking up front, but good behind. Bitter throughout, a good example of a quality IPA. Not overdone, right balance of mild fruit with bitter WC hops.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 oz. brown bomber. No freshness date seen. Tastes fresh, though. Poured out a dull copper color, with some chill haze evident. Aromas mostly of hops. Spicy, resinous, pine-like hops.
Corriander aromas prevelent also. Fast fading white head left a ring of bubbles around the rim of the glass. Tastes of piney, resinous hops, and strong malts in the backbone. Finishes slightly sweet, coating the tongue with a thin syrup-like consistency. A really good IPA in my book. It is worth seeking out, if you can find it.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Great hop aroma...even smells bitter. Good hop flavor with just enough malt to balance. Not terribly over hopped like many of its American counterparts. Overall, a very well balanced brew.

A great beer, plenty of hops, but not too much. I travel home all the time just to stock up on Marin Brewing Co. beers. The IPA has a really get flavor, with plenty of body and nice dry finish. Highly recommend

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dense amber body, excellent head formation and retention. Plenty of fruitiness especially orangee in the aroma, cascade shines through. A trademark CIPA albeit a little light in body and depth. Tropical fruit and lemon flavor with a dry bitter finish.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. A hazy amber color with a mostly diminished foamy white head. A fresh harvest hop aroma. The beer is thin on the palate with more water than malt. The fresh hops do carry into the flavor quite nicely, but it lacks a substantive malt presence. It's like drinking liquid hops.
