Golden crisp color on the pour from the bottle. I was able to pick up light citrus and sweet aromas. Taste is very clean, crisp and smooth throughout the drink. Only draw back would be very lightly hopped and would have liked a bit more hoppy taste. Other than that, I loved this pale ale and will be going back to it for a go to style beer!

UPDATED: MAR 12, 2013 Not bad for a pale ale. This one’s got some decent hop flavor which is more than I can say for most pales.

22oz bottle thanks to a recent trade here, can’t remember who sent it but I do appreciate it a lot. Split this with a buddy and we both thought it was a good pale ale. Nice orange color, decent head. Smells a bit hoppy but nothing extra. Taste had a nice hop bitterness with a decent malt backing. I’d drink a couple sixers of this if I could, not bad at all.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with a small white head that lasts. Nice aroma that sneaks up on you; sweet caramel malts and toast give way to nice citrusy, grassy, fresh hops that hint at more fruit and oil. The flavor brings that all together more boldly, with a big dose of citrus and tropical fruits. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a fruity mouthfeel. Really nice APA.

On draft at Marin. Clear amber with a tiny, dense, off white head. Aroma of citrus, toasty bread, light caramel and fruity. Flavor is toasty malt and caramel with a firm hop bitterness. Medium body with average carbonation. Excellent pale ale, lots of mellow malt character with just enough hops for balance.
