22oz bottle thanks to a recent trade here, canít remember who sent it but I do appreciate it a lot. Split this with a buddy and we both thought it was a good pale ale. Nice orange color, decent head. Smells a bit hoppy but nothing extra. Taste had a nice hop bitterness with a decent malt backing. Iíd drink a couple sixers of this if I could, not bad at all. Draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with a small white head that lasts. Nice aroma that sneaks up on you; sweet caramel malts and toast give way to nice citrusy, grassy, fresh hops that hint at more fruit and oil. The flavor brings that all together more boldly, with a big dose of citrus and tropical fruits. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a fruity mouthfeel. Really nice APA.

Tap. Pours hazy amber with a small white head that dissipates with some lacing. Aroma is sprucy, pine, citrus and caramel. Flavor is about the same, light sweet, light bitter and a bit metallic.

On draft at Marin. Clear amber with a tiny, dense, off white head. Aroma of citrus, toasty bread, light caramel and fruity. Flavor is toasty malt and caramel with a firm hop bitterness. Medium body with average carbonation. Excellent pale ale, lots of mellow malt character with just enough hops for balance.

Tap at Marin. Clear rich gold pour with a small white head. Caramel malt, a touch of hop, and kind of a strange hint of cigarette smoke in the taste.

This beer pours a very cloudy orange w/ a small head. Nice and hoppy, piny and a bit on the light side. Its overall character is rather mild to the point of maybe being a bit watery. Itís also slightly undercarbonated but still a decent brew overall.
