On draught at Paragon. Amber golden color. Spicy, hoppy aroma with malted notes. Sweet malt flavor with a good non-bitter hop profile that blends well. Finishes quite smooth.

Draft. Thick lace. Old school, 1990s PA with abundant bitterness. Nice tangerine flavor, caramel malts, puckerability. Nothing fancy, but good at what it is.

On tap sample at the source. Now we are talking. Nice well rounded pale with good balance of hops and caramel malt. Earthy grassy and a little bitter. Candy sugar sweetness.

Bottle from Sausalito Gourmet Sandwich. Aroma is earthy grains, mild citrus and some wild honey. Taste is mineral, corn, citrus, honey. A little dirty, unfiltered flavor...maybe a little thin.

Poured from a bomber into a tumbler on 08.01.14. A: Grapefruit and malt. A: 2 finger fluffy head. See through gold body. T: Follows the nose. It turned into a copper penny after a few minutes though. P: Crisp. O: This was a decent, but simple West Coast style APA until it all turned metallic. A copper flavor dominated everything else once it was warmed up. It was drain poured after a few minutes.

Pours a big foamy head on a hazy straw body. The aroma is mild lemon and grain. The taste starts out a little watery, gets some moderate lemon and grapefruit bitterness and finishes with a mild honey sweetness. Nice and easy profile. The texture is crisp with soft edges. Nicely drinkable.

"they hit the nail on the head here. this is one of the better pales i’ve had. not a particularly complex style, or beer, but it’s good in every way and almost perfectly balanced with the hops and malt. 6/10-had the "Left Hand" unfiltered version of this beer which ups the aroma and flavor just a smidge, and noticeably improved the feel. nice brew!"
