Bottle 22fl.oz. @ [ The Pool Tabel Tasting in Rome ].

Clear dark black brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, toffee, chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101219]

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a brown shine and some sediment floating around under a huge brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of chocolates, and lighter notes of cocoa. The flavor is sweet with a slight acidic note from hard roasted malt combined with notes of chocolate, leading to a very dry finish.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is dark roasted malt, light coffee note. Ashtrayish and hard roasted malt flavoured, mild hops bitterness. No real roasted acidity. Nice smooth roasted malt and light bitterness from the hops. Vague touch of liqourice into a nice roasted flavoured finish.

(Bottle 65 cl) Pours a dark brown with a reddish hue and a tall and extremely lively, beige, shaving foam style head that just keeps on coming. Sweetish yet lightly burned aroma. Fairly light in body with this heavy carbonation. Burned malt accents, some bitter chocolate and a fairly distinct bitterness in the finish. More of a Stout than a Porter in my book. 160607

Bottle. Black coloured with a beige head. Light roasted aroma of caramel, liquorice and chocolate. Light roasted flavour of chocolate and liquorice.

(22oz. bottle) Pours a dark brown body with a descent creamy tan head. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Flavor of chocolate, caramel, and a bit of lactose sourness in the finish.

Very dark brown. Chocolate aroma, nice fudge notes. Lots of chocolate, good rich body. Chocolatey finish is thick, with a hint of roasty acidity.

Dark muddy brown. Aroma and taste are semi-sweet chocolate, little roastiness that sneaks in. Little bitterness in the aftertaste, fairly smooth texture.

Courtesy of After4ever, thanks Tom. It is black with a light brown, creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate and light licorice. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa, licorice and also a little dark fruits. The finish is dry and citrussy.
