Not heavy. Fairly good porter with lots of flavor. LtDan (103), Greater Los Angeles Area, California, USA Sep 4, 2008 Most impressive Marin, even more so than White Knuckle. Had this on tap at Hotel Monaco in SF and out of a bottle from Whole Foods Pasadena, CA. Pours a dark rootbeer brown, big puffy head at first that completely subsides. Aromas of roasted coffee, and flavors of coffee, spice and a tad bit of chocolate. Rich but not too thick, highly highly drinkable.
