Poured from a 3L bottle courtesy of Hopscotch. Pours out a chocolate, hazelnut color with little head. Taste is a mouthful of sweet slammin caramel. It is so smooth, like a wine. Very little carbonation. At the very end, you start to get anise/ sambuca in the flavor. Just an amazing bounty of flavor and something I have never had before.

Courtesy Hopscotch, what a f’ing bottle!! Very hazy amber when poured. Aroma is sticky sweet, candy sugar, green apples, some maltiness. Flavor is more of the same, with the sweetness being a bit much for these taste buds.

Huge thanks to hopscotch for truckin’ this monstrous 3L bottle to bobo’s event. Pours brown-ish copper with thin tan head. The aroma gets different with each tug. It goes from sweet caramelized malts to smokiness to sweetness to bacon (what?!?!). More whiffs bring up only sweet caramelized maltiness. Nice aroma. The flavor is nice and thick with rich caramelized maltiness to figs and plums and other dark fruity flavors. The midway point the caramel becomes smooth and candy sweet and just grows in strength toward the finish. Very smooth and rich brew. I loved it.

Bottle (3 Liter)... O-Town Throwdown Part Deux... Pours a hazy, deep amber with a small, creamy, off-white head. The nose is acidic, yet malty and wafts caramel, vinous notes, funk and rawhide. Odd flavor of golden raisins and caramel. Sweet, but funky too. Full-bodied with a syrupy mouthfeel and controlled carbonation. Sweet, caramel finish. Thanks to FlacoAlto for shipping this out so quickly for the Throwdown!
