Not exceptional but a good, solid stout. Almost black with a deep brown head. Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, raisins, toasted almonds. Flavor shared the same components. Started sweet and ended with a coffee bitterness. Nice.

Bomber - Pours oil black with a thin tan head. Nose is milky, medium roast, graham crackers and a bit of vanilla. A touch of heat as well. Taste is chocolate, marshmallows, roasty dark malt, and oatmeal. Silky body, a bit thinnish with smooth carbonation. Straightforward and very tasty--very drinkable.

On tap at brewery. Aroma is of roasted barley. Flavor is similar. Very basic stout and I love it, very focused on the barley, no crazy chocolate or coffees. Palate is smooth almost like it has oats. Very nice.

Huge, creamy brown head. Deep brown/black in color. Great bitter coffee on the palate and in the nose. Slight cocoa nibs in both as well. Beautiful beer to behold.

Aroma- huge roasted notes, coffee, chocolate, toffee Appearance-pitch black with a stark white head, some lacing as well Taste- incredible black coffee and roasted notes upfront, some slight vanilla in the mid-palate, and more soft roastiness on the finish Palate- full-bodied, but very soft and sensual Overall- Wow, this one’s a winner for sure. Insane amount of roasted barley and bitterness blends incredibly with the vanilla and slight chocolate. Wonderful!

Looks black, thick and oily with coffee coloured head. Has a thick texture that really coats the palate. Powerful roasted malt flavour with hints of coffee/espresso.

This dark brown beer has a malt aroma. It has a chocolate coffee flavor. It goes down smooth and reminds me of a creamy coffee. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Daknole. Pours black with a nice half-inch of persistent tan head. Aroma is toasty malts with a bit of coffee. Taste is a nice balance of roasted malts, coffee, toffee, a bit of smokiness, creamy mouthfeel and a slightly dry finish. Not too sweet, not too roasted. Very nice.
