If this didn’t smell so incredible, I wouldn’t have rated the flavor as low as I did. It smelled amazing and I really wanted the taste to match that aroma. No dice. While refreshing and pleasantly peachy, it just lacked any slight peach tartness that I was really craving for. So close...

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Beer pours golden with a small velvetty head. Aroma is of peaches and apricots. Flavor is pretty much that of a golden ale with some subtle fruitiness. I taste apricots more so than peach, and it is really similar to Lost Coast Apricot Wheat beer. It is easy to drink. Pleasantly refreshing. One of the better fruit beers around.

Bomber from Ledgers, Berkley, CA; Nose of freshly picked peachs, lightly hazed yellow-gold with a medium white head; flavor of peaches, and light malt, but a little on the watery body side.

Yet another of Marin’s fruit beers which tease the hell out of you with an incredible nose, but fails miserably in the follow-up punch in the palate. Aroma is like a freshly cut freestone peach, just ripe with juicy sweetness. My salivary glands were working double time once I got a whiff of this and I’m thinking, yeah...this is gonna be good. Appearance was REALLY light yellow, with the usual foamyness that accompanies a Marin beer. Mouthfeel was slightly flat, and not alive or bright like the aroma was. Flavors were also really just flat for my tastes. I was hoping it would deliver the goods like Pyramid delivers with their apricot flavors. But it was a real let down (see their raspberry trail ale, also a let down IMO). I could pick up notes of malt and grain but that was about it. Overall, it was average at best. If the flavor profile was as strong as the aroma we’d be in business but it just didn’t come thru. Too bad.

Draft. Pale, yellowish beer with a thin white head. Good peach aroma. Peach and malt flavor, but quite fruity. More peach in aroma than flavor. Easy drinking.

Bought a bottle from Hollingshead (!) Poured carefully in large nonic, whew! Took me forever, huge head. Very foamy. Finally died down. Slightly off white colored head. Quickly thins out after several sips. Straw golden amber [light] colored, very cloudy. Very peachy aroma. Slightly cidery sour taste. Some peach milling around. Not too bad on a hot summer day.

Great peach aroma. Light peach taste. Clear golden color. Bomber from Bev-Mor, recommended by Dark Elf. Refreshing taste, not too sweet light carbonation. Comes near to taste of a peach champagne.
