COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A very light and refreshing ale with great character. German malts, Czech hops and a special Belgian yeast strain give this brew a complexity rarely found in a “blonde.” It’s a “no brainer.” 2003 GABF Bronze medal winner.

On tap @ Marin. Pale yellow/straw colored beer with white foam. This is pretty much your standard brewpub blonde ale here. Pretty bland with some sweet grains and bread, maybe some spices and herbs. Light grassy bitterness. Pretty weak mouthfeel. Eh.

Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Very pale golden, little white. Nose is cold, empty, boring iron, corn. Dull empty beer with lots of iron, very bland, cold metallic, sugar, straw. Dull & metallic. Bland at best, not really good, I had no idea where they were going with this one but seems like they tried to make a Belgian Ale. No idea how they wound up here, this is poor.

Draft. Mostly clear blonde with a well formed white head that lasts. Grainy and grassy aroma. Flavor is that of a real lawnmower beer, but with some interesting stuff happening. Dry with a bitter finish, pilsner-like. Rather light body with lively carbonation. Fine beer if not too exciting.

Aroma is moderate malty, grain, pale malt, light to moderate hoppy, light to moderate yeasty. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, grain, pale malt, odd yeast ! Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20131122]
