Tap: pale, hazy yellow with small white head. Aroma is yeasty caramel with citrus. Flavor is caramel sweet with soft orange, honey, a slight yeasty spice and a light toasted bread. Decent beer, a bit too sweet and lacking in the spicy kick I like in wit beers.

Draft at City Beer’s 5th Anniversary. Hazy pale golden-beige in color with a one-finger white head. The aroma is typical of the style, wheaty and yeasty with orange and coriander. The flavor is also fairly standard, well done but not a standout, with Belgian yeast, wheat, spice, and citrus peel. Medium-light body with medium-plus carbonation. A solid but very standard witbier overall.

On tap at Rubicon during Sacramento Beer Week. 10 ounce sample. Citrus, lemon, coriander notes in the aroma with a background of sour astringency. Doughiness also comes through. Decent aroma. Mostly hazy yellow body with a small, white, bubbly head. Starts with a little citrus lemon astringency before this smooths into a nice doughy maltiness in the middle. A little spiciness comes in later to finish. A little light, and seems a little lacking in the body, despite the fact that this has a nice flavor profile.
