75cl fliptop bottle at WWT. Black colour, light beige head. Aroma of malts, chocolate, grapefruit hops, light sweet, liquorice. Flavour is bitter, light herbal, liquorice, roasted malts, chocolate, bitter grapefruit finish with liquorice. Light to medium-bodied. Really good black IPA, this deserves a bigger audience.

Bottle @ WWT. Black pour, thick tan head. Aroma is roasty, hoppy, grassy and some licorice. Flavor is bitter roasted and nicely hopped. Perfect balance. Very nice brew.

Botella de 650ml.Vaso 1/2 pt. Saboreada en feb´12.Color ambar muy ocuro,rubi oscuro a contraluz. Corona cremosa,beige,burbuja pequeña y muy buena retención.Notas aromáticas herbales, pino, maltas torrefactas, malta caramelo, y matices de cacao. Entrada de maltas torrefactas con trazos de regaliz.Amargor intenso. Se agradece el paladar malteado que equilibra el sabor. Sabor y cuerpo intenso, carbonatación moderada. Toques de cacao y lígero fruto seco en el final. Astringencía agradable. Retrogusto de lúpulo seco, resinas y pino. Muy sabrosa y refrescante. Lástima que sea una ed. limitada de 350 botellas. 1pt bottle. Pint glass. Enjoyed on feb´12. Very dark copper in color, deep ruby to the light. Beige, creamy, small bubble crown.Very good retention. Herbal, roasted malts,pine,caramel malts & hints of cocoa to the nose. Roasted malty upfront, licorice hues.Sharp bitterness. Thankfully malty palate balances flavors. Flavorfull body, moderate carbonation. Slightly nutty cocoa finish. Gentle astringency. Dry piney, resiny hoppy aftertaste,. Very refreshing. Unfortunately it has been a 350 bottle ltd. ed.
