COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hoppy, crisp, and citrusy, with an underlying malt character. Made by blending lots of malted barley, wheat, and a judicious quantity of Cascade hops. A "big" beer!

12 oz bottle. Pours a rich golden amber color. Very little head. Aroma is floral and citrus hops up front, with significant maltiness. Flavor is bitter and roasty up front but with a sweet backbone. Overall a decent imperial IPA.

Served on tap at Jolly Roger. Clear gold color with a large white head. This is the cask version. Hoppy aroma. Low body. Not much initial flavor but finishes a little hoppy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at jolly Roger tap room. Pint glass with commonmac and rosskyle and wildcard. Dark gold with white head and thick head and lacing. Aroma is subtle. Sweet and alcohol, then dry hop at the end. Was a bit clunky.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pub glass on 02.03.15. A: Candied tropical fruit, grain, and lots of bready malt. A: 1/4 finger head that recedes to a ring and fluff. T: Some tropical fruit and grainy, bready malt dominate. Pine on the back end and tuna are subtle. P: Oily. Not very bubbly. O: The malt was too strong in this one. Granted, it’s an older IPA, but it wasn’t very enjoyable. Drain pour.

Draft @ Taphouse in Seattle. Hazy bright yellow, low white head. Low aroma of grains and citrus rind. Grainy palate with astringent, medicinal bitterness and weak citrus character. Overall lacking brightness and punch.

This IPA is all about the cascade. Citric notes of orange, lemon and mandarin. Dusty and grassy as well. Oily texture.

Bottle. Pours a mostly clear amber color with a moderate white head on there. Nose is somewhat citrusy, with a bit of sweetness coming through as well. Taste is a bit sweet up front, with very little bitterness coming through, and a tad bit of citrus present.

Nice fruity hoppy aroma. Taste is the same. Mild malt with juicy hops as the star. Nice beer. Easy drinking.

Pour is clear dark amber with a yellowish white head. Nose is bready and doughy, piney hops and resin. Taste is doughy, some bread crust, pine and faint citrus with gentle bitterness. Body is rather full and creamy, moderate carbonation and a semi dry finish. Some malt sugars of caramel linger through a shorter finish.

Draft pour. Citrus aroma. Great balanced pale ale between bitterness and sweetness. Very flavorful. A lot of citrus flavors. Long finish. Very good.
