3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
355ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a finger of white head that leaves only specks of lace on the glass. A mild earthy hop aroma with traces of citrus. Taste is a light malty sweetness finishing with a blast of lingering earthy and citrus notes. Medium bodied with some decent carbonation. This is a decent quality beer, but something in it just didnít sit right with me.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours a solid dark yellowish golden color with ample foamy white head. Aroma is mostly hops oil, grapefruit, caramel and pine. The taste begins with a shot of resinous earthy hops, candied citrus and dried tropical fruit followed by a bit of brown sugar, toasted malt, alcohol and hops bitterness. The mouthfeel is full-bodied with adequate carbonation while the finish is more resiny hops and malt sweetness with a slight alcohol kick. Overall, a quality DIPA with lots of aggressive hops, sweet ctirus and caramel malt flavors to chew on.

3.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pale yellow with creamy white head. Nose of orange, pineapple, and bubblegum. Nice carbonation, more bubblegum, and candy sweetness in taste. Balanced out by serious resinous hop presence. Something murky lurks in the background. Could be the glass or the tap lines...this place is pretty dingy. Pretty good. Better than the rating suggests. Glad I tried it.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear and brightly golden with a nice and foamy head. Smooth, drinkable texture. Nutty and resinous hops. Herbal and earthy with soft notes of grass. Mild-to-moderate bitterness. Bready and toasty in the malts. Decent, pleasant beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz. bottle from Bottleworks. Transparent copper-colored appearance. The head is slightly fluffy, and it doesnít seem to be going anywhere. This has a nice, fresh pine hop aroma. Itís quite pungent, but it just doesnít reach that peak that so many other great Double IPAs have achieved. Damn, I should have caught this beer when it was more fresh. It has a nice citrus touch at the end, but itís mainly malty. It has a nice resinous texture, but that doesnít save it, taste-wise. Damn, I can imagine if I had this fresh it would be bursting with hoppy goodness. Now, not so much.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from RiversideAK, Thanks Alex! Pours a clear deep gold with a creamy off white head that left some great lacing. Nose was full of citrus hops along with some biscuity malts. Almost creamy on the palate with a touch of hop bitterness in the finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
From the bottle, courtesy of Summer Secret Santa 2010, pours a clear orange red with a small bubbly white head. Not much in the nose, some malts. Taste is thickly malty with a quickly bitter finish. Not a remarkable beer, but a solid beer. Thanks Santa!
