[3066-20100701] Tap. Grainy mild grassy hops aroma. Clear, pale orange body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head and some light lacing. Bitter grassy earth hops flavour has a mild citrus and long bitter grassy aftertaste. Medium body is bitter. Interesting to try, could be sessionable.

6-pack from Fremont PCC. I’m a sucker for limited release beers so this one caught my when I it looked like I had already tried everything on the shelf. Smells like a corny lager but tastes like hoppy heaven. Pours a golden color and imparts the kind of citrus bitterness that hangs in the back of my throat. Too bad this is limited because I would drink this all the time.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle. Pours murky golden with a small white head. The nose is decently bitter pine hops mixed with dank, funky hops and moderately sweet barley. The taste is murky at first, followed by bitter pine that is in between an ipa and iipa. The palate is smooth. Not really an iipa but oh well. Decent. Rebuy? Probably not.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a golden straw color. Nose is fairly dry with pine and citrus hop aromas. The taste is somewhere in between what you’d expect of an IPA and an imperial IPA. Hops dominate with tastes of orange and pine. Some slight spice flavor and a background of bready malt. The finish is dry and bitter, and the alcohol comes through a little. My favorite of their lineup - a solid IPA.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at The Taphouse, pours a light hazy golden. Fairly ordinary aroma and flavour of hops. Nothing too over-burdening. Smooth palate.

Had a couple of these - really are IIPA’s - at the historic Jules Mays Saloon in the historic Georgetown area of Seattle) a couple of door down from Full Throttle Bottles and across the street from what was the Seattle Brewing Company. Cool, old-time atmo, this place must be one hundred years old at least, nice service, a most pleasant lunch, and good beer at a friendly price. Nice snappy hop aroma, slight haze to the body, a great hoppy bite to the mouth, and a smooth finish.
