Smooth medium body. Great taste is grainy and mildly sweet malts with sweet floral hops mixing nicely. Tough to beat a cask iipa. grandridge (222), Port Clinton, Ohio, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 10, 2008 What a nice surprise to get this as an extra in a trade. Pours slightly clody golden with a large head. Aroma is hops of the piney cascade variety. Nice and smooth brew I actually think this IPA is almost on the same level as the highest rated 2IPAs. Maybe I’m just a fan of the cascade hops. RblWthACoz (963), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 2, 2008 Pours a fully fogged in amber. Nose is pretty subdued with a metallic edge and slight hops. There is a pretty distinct alcohol edge that peeked out when things got warmer. Flavor is a bit meaty with a fairly prominent alcohol on the tongue. Slight hop character and a bitter tang is there. I would be interested to know the precise ABV on this puppy. Feel is good with the bubble and kind of thick on the liquid. Overall drinkable. Though the hit of alcohol on the tongue doesn’t really add. Is kind of a mild DIPA and doesn’t really carry any punch in the mouth as far as that goes. Smooth, but doesn’t really carry a mass of character. Do away with that alcohol showing up and you’d make things even more interesting I think. HoppyGuy (111), USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 14, 2008 On tap. Pours a nice, slightly hazy amber color with a medium off-white head. Aroma is a bit piney and citrus with an influence of hops. Great flavor with a nice balance of hops and malt. I really like pale ales, and this is a great one. I’d like to pair this brew with crispy fried chicken, mashed potatoes with chicken gravy and a mixed green salad. mspindler (351), Alta Loma, California, USA

Aroma is dominated by citrus and pine. Flavor is sweet, and hoppy, very straight forward. Almost a straight sugary sweetness as opposed to malty. Palate is smooth and creamy, carbonation is light. danielcurtis81 (917), San Diego, California, USA

A citrus flavor but not a true weat coast imperial IPA. riversideAK (2808), Shoreline, Washington, USA

Not alot of bitterness in this one. I get honey, malt, and some funky hops in the finish. I get the wheat too, which is wierd for an IIPA right? A lingering bitterness hangs around. Its pretty funky and hoppy in the finish.
