355ml bottle pours a bronze color with 2 fingers of white head and lots of lacing. A pleasing hoppy aroma with hints of cereal grain. Taste is a pleasant hoppy bitterness balanced nicely with a light malty sweetness. Light to medium body and moderate carbonation leave a nice feeling on the palate. This is a really nice pale ale which I enjoyed while sitting around campfire in Washington state on vacation.

Tap. Pours a clear pale yellow with a slight head. There was no discernible aroma. The flavor was generic pale ale. Drinkable but unremarkable overall.

Tap @ Jolly Roger Taproom. Slightly hazy, light burnt orange appearance with a white head. Nice, sweet, citrusy, earthy hoppy, sweet malty nose. A little tangy, citrusy, slightly piney flavor but that is a little subdued and allows for the toasty pale maltimess to come through. Nice brew.

Clear light amber color/ ivory head. Ganja bud, grass, floral hop, pale malt aromas. medium bodied with average co2. Very nice floral, fruity hop flavors on a solid grainy pale malt, honey biscuit base brew.

On tap. Pours pale yellow with plenty of white clings. Smells of sugar, caramel and dough. Tastes of dough, yeast, spruce and pepper.

On tap at the brewery 8-4-10. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with an aroma full of citrus hops - lemon, grapefruit with a little spiciness. Firmly bitter and big hop flavor, but slightly out of balance. Seems a little thin and not quite enough malt to back up the large hop character. Definitely a pacific NW pale ale. Almost like an IPA lite.

4 oz draft sample. Clear gold, foamy white head. Aroma of grain and mild hop citrus. Taste has some grassy bitterness. Smooth texture. Bitter finish.

2010-07-03. Crisp golden orange body, modest white head and lace. 3+ Flavour is pleasantly hoppy, modest bitterness throughout. Hop profile is a touch odd, very muted citrus and grassy character blends together in a way I don’t love at first but grows on me a bit. 6+ Aroma has similar grassy hop profile, muted citrus and malt. 6+ Average palate. Decent but I do not love the grassy notes. On tap at Jolly Roger Taproom, Seattle

[3098-20100703] Tap. Mild grainy bread yeast aroma. Clear, medium orange body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head head and some lacing. Bitter grainy bread yeast flavour has a long bitter aftertaste. Medium body. Good, solid pale.

Bottle from Bottleworks. Pours amber with a foamy beige head. Aromas of fragrant hop and caramel. Lush and foamy. Flavor is very mild caramel with a lot of fruit, a lot of rather grassy hop, and a whole lot of taste. Finishes bitter. Very good indeed.
