3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Bottleworks. Pours amber with a foamy beige head. Aromas of fragrant hop and caramel. Lush and foamy. Flavor is very mild caramel with a lot of fruit, a lot of rather grassy hop, and a whole lot of taste. Finishes bitter. Very good indeed.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle pours deep gold with subtle haze and thin off white head. The aroma is a rush of assorted citrus smelling hoppiness running from grapefruit to tangelo to orange zest to lime. I also get a sense of malts off in the background. The taste is similar bridging the gap between citrus hop flavor and citrus hop bitterness with plenty of grapefruit and tangelo and un ripe orange. It seems to go from sweeter citrus hop flavor then toward increasing citrus hop bitterness.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear light straw color. Nose is weak, some light citrusy hops but itís hard to make out much else. Taste is surprising given the nose - slightly sweet with a big hoppy flavor - pine, citrus, some spice. Malts play well in the background and taste like a late summer meadow. Finishes medium length, dry, bitter and hoppy. A nice surprise overall - pretty great for a pale ale, very refreshing, and a great session beer.

Some pale ale malt edge balanced with the citrus hops, Pretty in the glass, a little odd in the mouth. Hops lead the flavor, a good session brew.

Draft at a hotel dive bar next to the Moore Theater (Seattle, WA). Pours a slighly hazed golden orange color with a minimal head. Decent amount of citrus hop aroma and flavor. Canít say I could decipher the Czech hops in the description, but okay. Nice bitterness in the finish.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a hazy deep straw with small white head. Decent lacing. Slight aroma of soft spice. What first presents on tha palate is a nice soft maltiness almost as if they used a little wheat. But quickly a nice sharp hop bite comes on. I was a little concerned with the color as I enjoy my pale ales and IPAís for that matter to be a good baloance of malt. This has the body and slight sweetnes from the malt but a nice bitterness too. Nice beer.

On tap at Snoose Junction (pt 2). Pours mostly clear amber with a small off-white head. Smells like citrus hops, mango, and brown sugar (took me a while to place that mango). Mostly similar taste, nice mouthfeel, bitter grapefruit finish.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nice hazy crisp golden coloured body with a frothy white head that leaves a nice lace on the glass - this one looks great! Aroma of pale malt, light hops, wort, yeast and a bit of unfinished sugars. Medium-bodied; Nice assertive hops up front then showing some malt and a subtle citrus sweetness at the tail end. Aftertaste is somewhat hoppy, but not overly bitter and has a nice caramel sweetness. Overall, a nice and refreshing beer - not overly done like most new styles, and definitely worth trying if you can find it! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Bottleworks in Seattle, Washington on 25-April-2009, sampled at home in the Real Washington on 03-May-2009.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the Auld Triangle in Greenwood. I was there with my girlfriend watching a band she really likes called the Starlings. There was no cover which I like very much. The band is pretty good, but she has been listening to their cd for almost three months now since she bought it at their show in Port Townsend after the Strange Brew Fest that I attended with her and after4ever. She really is playing them out. Anyways, this one has a light nose of floral and woody hops, softer sweet malts, and a touch of butter. Pours a golden amber with no head. Flavors of soft malty sweetness, a little bread, caramel, followed by a pleasant soft floral finish with perhaps a touch of citrus as well. An easy drinking pale ale, the dry hopped version is much better and seemingly very different. Too bad the rating inteligensia does not deem dry hopping a recipe change or I would have another tick to my resume.
