3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 riversideAK (4568) - Shoreline, USA - APR 17, 2008
Pours light gold with a nice head. Aroma of pale bready malts, a little sweetness. Flavors of light sweet malt, bread, with a grassy crispness and perhaps a little metallic note. A great thirst quencher with decent flavor and a crisp finish. Nice fresh lager.

From tap. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and citrusy hoppy. Crisp bitter and citrusy into a dry and hoppy floral finish. Ends bitter and fruity.

Not as bad as most people would like it to be, yet better than most would expect. It’s light, it’s golden, good carbonation, fairly clean. It’s your grandfather’s Budweiser. Malt profile is similar to that of a czech pils, somewhat toasty, a decent malt presence, a touch of diacetyl. I really want to say that I can taste Crystal hops in this brew, but it’s sorta there and sorta not. A slight canned corn flavor and aroma. Not bad, but also not good.

This was a pretty decent lager but it didnt do too much for me. The color threw me off as it was pretty light and almost looked like a pilsner. Not terrible.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 luttonm (965) - Belgrade, SERBIA - SEP 23, 2010
Draft, standard at The College Inn. Crisp, clean pour. Straight up solid lager, but with robust souring and off-malting. Clean but not what I’m after.

Tap at Emmett Watson’s Oyster Bar. Fresh keg! Pours bright gold with a creamy white head. Light bready aroma. Medium body with light foamy carbonation. It’s mildly bready and has a good dose of grassy hop. Drinks very well. Medium bitter finish.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours bright yellow with a white head. No aroma to speak of. The beer is well made with no mistakes. Quick and clean palate. Seems more like a pilsner to me. For what is is, it is a delicious beer that would pair well with fish.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 Feinschmecker (202) - Seattle, Washington, USA - NOV 14, 2009
Straw color and clear. Grain and grassy aroma evokes a German lager, but without the crisp finish. Something is missing. I think the hops should be maybe different. The cereal and sweet side needs the balance of Saaz hops.
