A light, clean, crisp lager. Reminiscent of beers brewed in the early years of Seattle. Flavorful, yet light in alcohol.

Straw color and clear. Grain and grassy aroma evokes a German lager, but without the crisp finish. Something is missing. I think the hops should be maybe different. The cereal and sweet side needs the balance of Saaz hops.

Draught at Oddfellows, 11/3/15.
Clear golden liquid is topped by a small, moderately-retained white head.
Very straightforward lager here with low hopping rate adding just a touch of floral character. Moderate sweetness, not overly so, but could stand to be a touch more dry/crisp. No flaws though, and obviously no alcohol. Goes down very quickly and easily, though the carbonation needs to be tightened up a bit, as it seems rather loose/low leading to more apparent maltiness than I’d like.

On tap at Maritime Pacific, pours a clear pale and yellow with a medium white head. Nose brings out grassy notes, some corn and crisp crackery malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with herbal and grassy notes, some corn and crackery malt. Very crisp and punchy, with high drinkability. Very nice lager.

On June 24, 2015. At Jolly Roger Taproom (Maritime Pacific) in Seattle, Washington.
Listed as 5.2% ABV and 25 IBU.
Clear yellow color, white head with lacing. Malty, light clean taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Fruity aftertaste. Malty, sweet scent.

Draft pour pint at the 192 lake trail taproom. Pours a clear pale yellow color with a patchy head and full lace. Soft grassy lemon aroma. Near absent. Crisp and refreshing flavor overall. Has a sugary sweetness to it. Drinks easy, and would probably pair nicely with something, but I wouldn’t know, since I paired it with this rating alone. For what it ia, it’s good.

The dry hopped version. Clean, a bit dull, a bit stale malt, the stuff is just dull bur fine.

Draft at central cinema. Pale clear pour. Aroma of honey, corn, grass and cider. Sweet, light grassy bitterness; copper, wet hay. Light body, soft carbonation.

Draught at WA Brewers Festival, 2014. Pours a slightly hazy golden color. Nose has the requisite corn elements to it, as well as a bit of grass, which was a nice surprise. Taste has a lot of corn and grains, and seems very much like an average lager. Drinkable, but not much to it.

Leave it to a seattle brewery to make a seriously hoppy pale lager. Medium body and slight malt sweetness. I would definitely guess this was a pale ale. Has that sweet fruit and body that don’t say lager. has a bit of a spicy flavor to it as well.

Tap. Light copper pour with a finger of white head. Apple, fruit, grain, refreshing. Very strong grain taste (in a good way) initially and at the finish. Less flavorful in the middle. Lighter to medium body. Actually pretty good

Serving: from tap--at Smarty Pants. Aroma: lightly hoppy. Appearance: average-sized, creamy, white, initial head with fair lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Clear, medium-yellow body. Taste: lightly bitter initial flavor and moderately bitter finish with average duration. Palate: light body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Overall: OK.
