Golden colour. Rich saaz nose, with hints of pale malts. The flavour is thin on the malts, but yet they impact the mouthfeel a bit anyway. Hop bitterness is moderate. It lacks the voluptuous tang of the best Czechs but its a solid, refreshing American example.

clear medium gold body, white head. bit syrupy nose and flavor. malt is husky, grainy, soggy. hops are a bit too green which gives it a mossy, da k quality. low acid leaves the medium-thick body feeling flabby.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Ibrew2or3 (5823) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - SEP 1, 2008
On tap @ the brewpub. Pours clear gold with nice full bright white head. The aroma is mild bringing up some roast to grain malts and a hint of noble hops. It seems to have a standard pilsner taste but a bit long on the sugar sweet malts. It starts mildly grainy moving toward solid malt sweetness and a background of floral to spicy hops. Overall too sweet for my tastes. If it was a little less sweet it would be a solid offering in my opinion.
