Serving: from tap at Tawon Thai. Aroma: lightly citrusy. Appearance: small, creamy, white, initial head with no lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Hazy, light yellow body. Taste: citrusy initial flavor and moderately sour, citrusy finish with average duration. Palate: light-to-medium body, watery texture and soft carbonation. Overall: excellent summertime beer. Thirst quenching with an interesting taste.

Rating #1987 - 2015.09.26 #CraftTakesSeattle Day 3, Beer 89. Draught at Taphouse Grill Bold golden pour with a thick, white foam, decent retention. Aroma is strong malty sweetness, caramel, ripe fleshy fruits. Taste is lightly hopped, rather dry but quite impressive. Crisp, refreshing, and smooth tasting.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Soft sweet grain, a touch of faint hops on the nose. Medium bodied, grain, sweetness. Crisp grain into the finish.

Tap. Pours a clear pale gold body with a small fizzy white head that faded to a wispy partial covering. The nose is pretty bland, a little bready malt, maybe some corn, and a minimal touch of floral hops. The flavor is a little too sweet with a white grape juice like note that detracts quite a bit. Finishes with a light bitterness, but not enough to cover up the residual sweetness in here. Mouthfeel is light bodied, but sticky with soft fizzy carbonation. A little clingy and doughy on the finish. Pretty bland and boring, not all that different than the Old Seattle Lager.

Golden color with creamy head. The aroma is too simple. The flavor is simple too, but there is some malt flavor and some cereals. Dry.

Cloudy orange. My nose is shot from beer tasting tonight, so no aroma. Sips med to full with banana and spice. This is a pilsner?? Call it what they want, but there sure is a lot of yeast and bread/sweet fruit flavors for a lager. Nice nonetheless. Had at the lost lake cafe and lounge just off pike behind poquitos.

Sample at the Tap House Grill in Seattle. The beer pours a clear pale yellow-gold color with a medium fizzy white head that burns away quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of grassy hops and malt. Light-bodied with a mildly bitter hops character with some biscuit malt behind it. The finish is lightly bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

On tap in Seattle. Good pale gold color, minimal head, Saaz in the nose and palate. It’s a pilsner, so there isn’t too much earth-shattering going on here, but it is very drinkable.
