On draught at Dexter and Hayse Public House. Clear amber color with lingering very fine white head. Early hop notes then maltiness comes through. Subdued hint of cream corn, not a distraction. Okay.

Draft at ncbc. Pours a crystal clear pale amber with a loose white head. Mild brown bread and nuts on the nose. Watery medium body with light carb. Mildly nutty mid palate with soft bread notes. Clean finish.

Nutty, toasty, bready, grassy and sweet on the nose. Pours golden amber, not much head or lace. The flavor is a little sweeter than expected with notes of nuts, toast, bread, and grass. Lightly bitter finish. Nice local offering.

Amber orange, thick white head. Aroma is bready malt, earth and grassy hops. Starts out sweeter than I was expecting, bready, has some nuttiness, earth, grass, mild spice. Crisp and fairly complex, easy to drink. Not amazing, but a very respectable Oktoberfest offering.

Aroma – rich flavored Oktoberfest Lager aroma
Appearance – Amber in color, clear and a nice head
Flavor – Rich malty flavors with some good spices and hops
Palate – Sweet with a dry finish this was a very nice brew.
Overall –Liked the beer it was crisp and flavorful and not overly heavy for a lager.

On Tap at Maritime Pacific Seattle. Pours out a clear copper/gold topped with a white head. Light sweet grain a nice hop bitterness on the end. Along with a little malt.

Feinschmecker (202) - Seattle, Washington, USA - OCT 4, 2007
Tap. Amber orange appearance with a Teutonic aroma - maltiness that you expect from a dark Münchner lager or Märzen. The brew is not too heavy and very drinkable. The hoppy aroma is in the background and instead it really malty. It is somewhat loyal interpretation of this German style. I dig it!

Brilliant copper with big head. Light sweet malt. A little wheat? Hops bring a bitter finish. Just a bit of alcohol burn. Pretty tasty.

With a cloudy appearance and fairly hoppy head I was almost under the impression this was a pale ale, except for the lager zing in the back of my throat. Fits right in with the disappointing Maritime half-assed kind of quality I've had so far. Decent beer, but nothing too remarkable.
