COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dark, malty and delicious - but also dangerously quaffable. This style ale began in 18th Century Britain, but died out as pale malts becasme more economical than their darker counterparts. We’re reviving the tradition and hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

A second sample was this fine brown ale. Hardly an electrifying style this is instead an excellent sessionable beer. Though your wallet may not agree your palate will be happy after a couple of these.

Aroma / Appearance - The almond brown base overwhelms the minimal head. Noble hops, malty iced tea, and nutty blasts of caramel tickle the senses. Peanut butter on white toast makes the mouth water.

Flavor / Palate - Nuttiness, malts, and noble hops ease into a warm transition that invites more reflection. The finish is like walnuts ground up into a smoothie. This is a solid beer that balances drinkability with the need to be able to taste things after a couple of imperial pints.

.Tap sample. Poured clear dark brown color with an average frothy brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable brew.
