Appearance: Hazy cherry red, bubbles on pour but no head. Aroma: Cherry, blossom honey, bready note, marzipan. Taste: Medium sour and sweetness with low bitterness. Palate: Thin coarse texture, light body, prickly carbonation, lingering cherry, marzipan finish after a slight honey and sherberty note. Comments: Very good.

Bottle at home, 330 ml, poured into a tulip. ABV 3.5% Pours an intense red coloured beer, with a small and thin pink head, with average retention, leaving light lacing around the glass. Clear and transparent body. Aroma of cherries, not as artificial as I was afraid of, rose petals. Taste is sweet, cherry flavoured like certain soft drinks and/or sweets, but again more natural tasting an actually not bad. Thin body, average carbonation, sticky on the palate. Overall more than okay for this sort of beer.

Bierr wat sprekend lijkt op cassis. Zoetig met een zuurtje van de kers maar niet overheersend. Mooie roze kraag. Meer frisdrank dan bier

cherry, almond snaps, it is as a previous rater said ok for what it is. Not as sweet expected. From the M&S Amsterdam.

33cl Bottle from M&S A’dam. Clear dark ruby colour, light-pink head. Aroma is sweet, cherries, marzipan, forest fruits, Hubba-Bubba bubblegum. Flavour is likewise, with some wheat character, not as sweet as expected though. Light-bodied. OK for what it is.

Bottle, 330ml from M&S’s in Banbury. Ruby red with pink head. Not having had great experiences with cherry beers in the past I was prepared to pass this one over quickly to Sandra, but no, it is certainly initially sweet and sticky but a tart, souring cherry battles through giving a very pleasant sweet & sour effect. Fresh fruit, biting, lasting, I was impressed.

Theydon_Bois (10386) - Tourist Town (West), Berkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 13, 2014
Bottle at home, from M&S Cardinal Place, 13/01/14. Opaque cherry red with a thin crimson head that clears to edgeing and spotting. Nose is cherry drops, sugars, sweet berry fruit juices. Taste comprises sweet cherry syrup, sugars. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, sweet closure. Overly sweet, cherries for sure, just couldn’t drink more than a few sips and having rated it the remainder went down the drain - not bad per say just too sweet and lacking any other qualities.

Poured deep reddish brown with a frothy pink head. Aroma of zesty cherry candy, sweet and sickly. Medium, moderately carbonated body, flavour as the aroma, bubblegum and artificial sweetness.
