UPDATED: APR 14, 2014 Bottle from M&S. Hazy, pale yellow body with a large, but quickly diminishing white head. Light lacing. Aroma of orange rind, some spices. Nice, fruity flavour - banana, orange and lemon. Subtle hint of coriander. Thin to medium body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Fizzy carbonation. A decent wheat beer, just lacking a little in body and depth of flavour.

Bottle from M&S, Thurmaston, Leics. Looks lovely - hazy banana colour, with creamed head. Smells slightly muted, with bananam raincoat and citrus. Rather sweet, with a jumble of flavours, some of which work better than others. The fruit is rather mushed and the sweet puddingness is a bit cloying. Very faint vomit notes. 7 or 8 years ago, the witbeer that M&S sold was a lot better than this.

Cloudy with a good citrus aroma, not as pronounced in the taste which is somewhat disappointing, and looks a little weak.

Traditional cloudy wheat beer akin to Hoegaarden but a little more yellow in colour. Aroma and taste are a bit more bland tho. Refreshing but not inspiring. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

50cl bottle. Cloudy straw coloured with a dense white head; wheaty, yeasty aroma with a touch of citrus; soft with a dry chalky body, and a rather watery consistency, with some orange zest flavour over bready dough; and a dry clean finish. Not bad.

UPDATED: MAR 5, 2012 Bottle from M&S Thurmaston. Pours a very pale yellow with a small, soapy head. Uneven looks - seems to be cloudy or clear depending on where you look which, combined with the high amount of sediment, means it’s not the most appetising beer to look at - even once I’d given it time to settle. Strong lemon aroma. Light citrus taste, sweet and tart initially but turning a little dry with a relatively short finish. Thin texture, slight carbonation and a medium to abrupt finish. Not bad but far from the most satisying example of my favourite style.
