Dark ale which is quite crisp and has a decent body to it. There’s some noticeable fruits in the taste too.

50cl bottle. Pours copper brown with fluffy off-white head - plenty of lacing. Toffee, fudge, dark fruit on the nose, alongside a slightly odd plasticky sweetness. Very well rounded flavour with plenty of toffee sweetness, deep dark fruit - plums especially - and smooth slightly roasted maltiness. Finishes with a slight hop twang which quickly gives way to a mellow dark fruitiness. Great apart from that slightly odd aroma.

Bottle at ChrisO’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2011. Pours cloudy brown with a small, off-white head. Slightly tangy, dark malts on the nose. Mild cocoa in the flavor, faintly sweet. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Faint fruits and roast to finish. A little weak of character all around, but alright.
