2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 harrisoni (10070) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAR 16, 2010
Bottle from M&S Liverpool. Clear mid brown colour. Lasting cream coloured head. Milk choc aroma. Slightly bready and malty too. It’s got more milk choc in the mouth and swallow. A bit of a one trick pony to be honest. Just some milk choc flavour, which isn’t overly strong and some fairly bland malty beer underneath. No real hop on finish, bit of sting from the carbonation. Touch of powdery choc on finish.

Bottled, 500ml from M&S, Banbury. Copper to brown with off white head. Sweet chocolate aroma leading to much the same thing in the flavour, in fact, very sweet. Glutinous Chocolate with a plummy fruity note. Weird.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 chriso (7065) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 14, 2010
500ml bottle from some, thanks to oh6gdx, January 2010. Copper colour. Ridiculous levels of chocolate. Quite artificial tasting. Not too much else happening. Very sweet. Bags of flavour but too sickly for my taste. Limited notes as I rather assumed this was the same as Robinsons Chocolate Tom but I guess not.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 maeib (6645) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - MAR 17, 2011
Bottled. A chestnut brown coloured beer with an off-white head. The aroma has sweet chocolate and banana. The same in the mouth. The chocolate is dusty, and is very prevalent late on the back of the tongue. A reasonable length. Really not sure about the banana but it’s not a bad beer.
