Fairly ordinary lager aroma. It has a deeper, but not a full pilsner taste.

DruncanVeasey (5150) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Prem, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAR 21, 2011
Bottle from Fosse, rated to JC’s version of ’Down There By The Train’. Bright gold, steady bead, low head behaving well. Grass, branflakes, loose change, beans n’ honey aroma- EXACTLY like a no alcohol. Slick glycerol mouthfeel, licked envelopes, papery spruce, honey licked off cheap flatpack- that kind of thing. Has a real Hayward’s 5000 feel to it, with a needle of piney, herbal hop. Brainless Saturday night entertainment. I do very much like the devil-eared silhouettes of cats on the label, however- would like to see more of them.

50cl bottle from M&S. Gold clear, thin white head. Pretty good to be honest, not any cardboard, and it’s got some very good hop and some lime/lemon fflavours. I rather liked it. Good clean flavours.
