COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This cider comes from award-winning craft cider maker Sandford Orchards who make it at their family-run farm near Crediton in Devon. The apples, grown on or within 10 miles of the farm, include the wonderfully named Farmers Glory and Slack-ma-Girdle varieties. This golden cider has a light tone, crisp bite and a pleasing bittersweet finish with bags of apple on the palate. Perfect match for... Great with salads and cold meats, fruity chutney and bread, this also has enough character to go with pasta dishes. A wonderful lunch time cider.

Bottle shared at Leighton’s, thanks to Fergus. Pale yellow, totally clear, very lightly sparkling, small foamy white head. Aroma is apple juice, musty, earthy, touch of bile. Body is medium, tingly carbonation, slightly foamy. Taste is sweet apple juice, drying with touches of white wine, elderflower and maybe urine (I say maybe as I don’t drink it that often).

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Fergus. Pours crystal clear gold with a slight white foam head. The nose has some mellow dry funk, ripe and musty apples, sweat. Medium sweet flavor with nicely ripe and juicy citrus, more subtle funk, toasted sugars. Medium bodied, soft, and a little oily. Sweet finish, faintly tangy, with slight drying apple skin, some honey, more ripe apples. Really tasty overall.

Bottle shared at Leightons place. Picked up in M&S Euston. Bright pale golden coloured pour with a frothy effvescent white head. Aroma is tart apple, little paramessan cheese, fresh apple. Flavour is funky, crisp apple, little musty, tart, semi sweet fruit. Palate is semi sweet, moderate to high carbonation. Pretty interesting.

Bottle @ No Creepy Country Ticks Tasting, courtesy of deanso. Pours a pale golden beer with almost no head on top. Aroma of apples and honey with slight malts in the background. Flavor is juicy apples, very sweet and fruity. Short, sweet finish, flat mouthfeel. Decent cider I guess.
