All the apples for this cider come from the Hazerdine Orchard in Herefordshire, planted in 2002. The varieties Dabinett, Michelin and Harry Masters have been specially reserved by Westons Cider to make this vintage cider, traditionally matured in oak vats, exclusively for us.

Apologies admins- have added this twice with my fat sausage fingers. From Fosse. Headless green gold. Nose lambic dankness, wasp-infused wheelie bin fruit left to sour on the lawn a couple of months. Dryish, sweet-sour, slightly smoky with Bramley pie filling, cider vinegar, chalky, TCP, paprika (?) and lovely, just-turning sour notes. Complex and incredibly easy to drink with the illusion of refreshment. The kind of cider that undoes my prejudices about cider and keeps me drinking it.

500ml bottle from M&S Shrewsbury. 2012 Vintage. Pours clear gold with a slick fruity mouthfeel. The fruitiness, although there, appears a little subdued with some custard & light honey. Nice.

Clear straw coloured pour. The aroma has a bit of apple skin. Moderately sweet with a little bit of dried apple flavour. Has a bit of sweetness and some lingering fruit flavour. A little bit of apple flavour.

Pale golden with some big bubbles. Nice fresh apple, with some white wine, dreid apple peel and fresh juice. Not too sweet or musty, light fresh sweet with more dry and slightly barnyard finish. Light bodied and slightly watery. Decent stuff.

500ml bottle (Marks & Spencer Kristiine, Tallinn)
Lovely sharp appley aroma, some almost scrumpy-like dryness, the oak aging coming through nicely. Clear gold, slightly fizzy pour. SImple crisp palate. Slightly acidic bite. Really sharp in the mouth, but still pleasantly fruity. Touch of candifloss, and later even some bacon in the finish. No alcohol at all, super refreshing. For a filtered cider, this is very good indeed.
