Gelungenes Stout! 10/11/11/11/9/11

Flaske 0,5l. Klar gylden på farge. Humle hele veien. Temmelig ensformig. (Restanseliste: Drukket 6 Mai 2006 på tog fra London til York).

0.5 l bottle at Petalax Beer Festival 2010. Golden to copper color. Flowery, fruity and resiny hop aroma. Bitter and biscuity flavor with flowery and resiny hops. Minerals in the finish. OK English IPA, could drink more of this.

Bottle. Sweet with a clear appearance.Although labelled as an IPA it clearly is a pleasant bitter. The lack of true hoppiness is a giveaway. Nevertheless its an pleasant bitter.

The use of IPA on UK beers that are just bitters/ESB’S is redundant, but it adds street creed and markting points so it aint goin’ away . Actually pretty nice "Bitter". Fruity ,juicy hop tangs on my first sip. Earthy apple ester ...Toasty toffee/malt..Some tree bark and pencil shavings ,some low dryness. Pretty good!.

imdownthepub (10297) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 20, 2009
Bottled, 500ml, pasteurised from M&S Banbury. Gold with white head, carbonated. Can’t imagine what M&S are playing at with this, dead lifeless beer, maybe with a hint of hop and a fairly sweet malt, but otherwise definitely very dull.

Rune (8065) - Tromsø, NORWAY - SEP 8, 2009
500ml bottle purchased from a local M&S store in Earls Court. Clear, amber-reddish body with a slowly diminishing, white head. Floral hops to the nose. Sweet jam and sweet malts in flavour. Careful hop bitterness to the ending, not enough to counter the impression of being a bit too sweet. Soft to lively carbonated. Rather well bodied (shared with Finn H. and Arild, 04.08.2009).
