3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pleasant to drink, soft palate with chocolate and a dry, chalky nice aftertaste. The redness isn’t too pleasant, yet the head on it is long lasting.
Bottle from the M&S store in the Kalverstraat, Amsterdam.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from M&S, Den Haag.... Yippee! M&S are back :-) Poured a clear reddish brown with a frothy white head. The aroma is a little smoky, light fruit, malt and some yeast. The flavour is medium bitter with a smooth smoky spiced, malt , light hop bitter palate with a short bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation and a slightly oily mouthfeel. This was a very drinkable beer indeed. Very malty, nice and chewy. Deserves a higher rating IMO.
