COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dabinett apples are known for making great traditional cider. The rich red fruit has a distinctive bittersweet taste that, when matured in 100 year old oak vets, develops into a crisp, balanced cider with a deliciously full, aromatic, fruity bouquet.

Medium Yellow with a fizzy quick dissapearing thin lacing white head. Sour apple smell with citrus. Medium thin fizzy body. Sweet start of apples with a strong sour citrus finish. Leaves the mouth very dry.

500ml bottle from M&S Chelmsford rail station. Bright orange gold clear, with thin white head. Good oak character on this. Gives the cider structure. Good dryness on the finish with some biting tannins on the gums. Lovely characterful drinkable cider. This is pretty good stuff. Would drink this again happily.

500ml bottle from M&S. Dark yellow colour, no head. Aroma is sour apple, leather, vinegar, dishcloth?. Flavour is medium sweet apple, dry leather, hint of wood. Highly carbonated. Well done, except the carbonation.

Sorry admins - rb crashed on me when I entered this into the database. Should read Marks and Spencer Oak Matured Dabinett Vintage Cider 2010 but it crashed after my commercial write up description. Sorry. Back to the cider. Aroma is apples; wood, candi sugar, sweet marzepan. Taste is apples; oak, candi sugar, very fizzy, reminds me of appletize but more dryer, dry oak and woody finish. Nice and very easy to drink. Good stuff. The acid is a bit high but I can drink this like a soda. Dry soda apple juice; anyone??
