3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Lager looks with a dissipating white collar. Nose of spritz, strudel, bubblegum. Good sweet-sour acetic flavour like ground clove and cider vinegar licked off a tyre blown at high speed. Nice.

Fresh crisp apple aroma. Very drinkable, but a bit sweet. Tons of apple. Nice sharpness, but still sweet, a nice combination.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at the ChrisO Snow Tasting, London - one of my additions. To be honest, this was a pretty refreshing beer amongst all the heavy-hitters. Pours perfectly clear yellow with a light, white foam head. Sweet, ripe apple nose. Medium to big sweet flavor with ripe apples. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly drying to finish with medium sweetness, sugary apples. Cleansing, not cloying. Good stuff.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
500ml bottle from M&S Chelmsford rail station. Bright orange gold clear, with thin white head. Good oak character on this. Gives the cider structure. Good dryness on the finish with some biting tannins on the gums. Lovely characterful drinkable cider. This is pretty good stuff. Would drink this again happily.

Sorry admins - rb crashed on me when I entered this into the database. Should read Marks and Spencer Oak Matured Dabinett Vintage Cider 2010 but it crashed after my commercial write up description. Sorry.
Back to the cider. Aroma is apples; wood, candi sugar, sweet marzepan. Taste is apples; oak, candi sugar, very fizzy, reminds me of appletize but more dryer, dry oak and woody finish. Nice and very easy to drink. Good stuff. The acid is a bit high but I can drink this like a soda. Dry soda apple juice; anyone??
