Bottle shared at home. Clear dark golden with fluffy white head. Soapy and floral with quite some sweet caramel malts. Also quite some herbs towards the finish. Medium sweet with slight roasted/herbal bitter finish. Medium bodied. Doesn’t really showcase the cascade hops very well, more a malt-forward brew.

Bottle. Clear golden colour, white not very lasting head. Aroma hops, citrus fruits, zesty, bit caramel malt, bit sour. Taste hops, caramel malt, light bitterness. I can taste some taste of iron in the background. Dry bitter aftertaste. Overall drinkable, but nothing special.

Bright clear gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Good minerally carbonation. Bready malts, not that sweet. Trace of esters. Hops bring mild marmalade and a trace of fresh peel. Light semi dry finish. More of a bitter than an IPA or APA.

Refreshing modern style ale. Strong citrus flavours with a mellow aftertaste reminiscent of a good Sancerre.

Clear deep golden color with a fine white head. Citric and toffee aroma. Medium body. Ok balance between bitterness and sweetness. Average carbonation. A bit typical British special bitter with some more citric notes. A lot of caramel, toffee, mild fruity and citric flavor. Fresh and nice ale.

500 ml bottle. (Marks & Spencer) London, England.
Clear golden colour, small white head. Sweet maltiness, mild hops and a hint of bitterness in the aroma. The flavour is sweet maltiness, moderate bitterness, nutty dryness and sweet hoppiness. You could get more out of Cascade hops. Still quite enjoyable.
