McTapps (4083) - Ruhrcity, North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - AUG 6, 2014
Bottle bought at the M & S at the Ardale Shopping Centre in Eastbourne. Pours out in a hazy orange-amber colour with steady low head and medium body. Aroma of hops, thyme and oranges. Taste of fresh hops, coriander, spruce, oak, thyme, flower, grapefruit and grass. Easy and smooth to drink with a dry-bitter, but mild finish. Enjoyed it.

Slightly hazy burnished gold with thin offwhite head collapsing to lacing. Lemon cheesecake and shortcake note on the nose, full bodied, sweet biscuity malt with a lemony snap. Brief finish, dry, but lacking hop punch

Bottle from Marks and Sparks, Enniskillen [190614]
Amber, clear, big frothy white head, some lacing
Aroma of grapefruit, soft floral notes, some zest, slight lime
Taste of sweet pale malts, some grapefruit, citrus zest, fairly bitter spicy hops, flavour got slightly dull by the end of the bottle
Palate - soft carb, medium body, quite oily, more sweet malts than bitter hops. Finish is fairly bitter, bit more spicy and grassy hops coming through.
Overall - Decent enough pale ale, but didnít come across quite as good as the single hop Mosaic

Bottle. Itís faintly hazy, golden in color and with a small, white head. Lightly spiced aroma with citrus peel and some pale malts. Pine cones too. Thereís a decent bitterness in the mouth, considering the sweetness level I think it could use some more. Citrus peel and pine cones too. Medium to full body, very soft on the palate. Long orange peel finish with zest and bitterness. Pretty decent this one, easy drinkable too. 140608
