Bottle at home from m&s cookstown
Slightly hazy burnished gold with thin offwhite head collapsing to lacing. Lemon cheesecake and shortcake note on the nose, full bodied, sweet biscuity malt with a lemony snap. Brief finish, dry, but lacking hop punch

stravale (2058) - Near Carrick-on-Shannon, IRELAND - JUN 19, 2014
Bottle from Marks and Sparks, Enniskillen [190614]
Amber, clear, big frothy white head, some lacing
Aroma of grapefruit, soft floral notes, some zest, slight lime
Taste of sweet pale malts, some grapefruit, citrus zest, fairly bitter spicy hops, flavour got slightly dull by the end of the bottle
Palate - soft carb, medium body, quite oily, more sweet malts than bitter hops. Finish is fairly bitter, bit more spicy and grassy hops coming through.
Overall - Decent enough pale ale, but didn’t come across quite as good as the single hop Mosaic

yngwie (13191) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 8, 2014
Bottle. It’s faintly hazy, golden in color and with a small, white head. Lightly spiced aroma with citrus peel and some pale malts. Pine cones too. There’s a decent bitterness in the mouth, considering the sweetness level I think it could use some more. Citrus peel and pine cones too. Medium to full body, very soft on the palate. Long orange peel finish with zest and bitterness. Pretty decent this one, easy drinkable too. 140608

Bottle from M&S. Pleasant, smooth ale. Not dramatic, by some, all or any means. Tangy sour orange flavour, per-harps marmalade. Easy drinking, enjoyable. Ok.

Bottle that Dad shared- cheers! Golden-amber with a small white head and a pleasant fizz. Orange up front then floral and pine notes in a drying finish. Decent, possibly not quite up to the citra we had from the same series.
